Geography

A municipality of La Vega province which is located in the center of the Cordillera Central on a plateau that is 525 meters above sea level.

Jarabacoa - " place of water" is famous for its better air quality in the entire national territory and is considered as one of the safest places in the country. It has a rainy tropical climate, with an average annual temperature is around 22 °C (72 °F) and it rains frequently throughout most of the year. The temperatures present little variation, between December and February the early mornings and mornings are cool or slightly cold, the afternoons are mild and the nights pleasant.
